Miniature Hebe
In the foreground is a miniature hebe plant. Bees love the flowers of hebe so I’m hoping these plants will provide lots of colour and food for the pollinators next year. #gardenrestorationblog

Bright Pink Heather
This beautiful pink heather is bringing a wonderful splash of colour to the garden. It is one of the plants I saved from the living green wall at an event recently. #gardenrestorationblog

Cyclamen leaves
The cyclamen flowers have gone now, but the variegated leaves are still spreading along the border. All this from one tiny clump of roots I buried back in Spring…. #gardenrestorationblog

Patches of Moss
In the damp shade of the leafy border plants, wonderful patches of spongy moss are thriving. #gardenrestorationblog

Autumn Leaves
The Acer is turning a golden brown now and it won’t be long before the tree is bare... #gardenrestorationblog

The remains of the Annuals!
The remains of the Annuals! It’s hard to believe that these pots were so full of life and colour just a few months ago. #gardenrestorationblog

The Autumn Border
I’ll leave this as it is now. The leaves of the Acer are beginning to turn and they’ll soon fall and cover the ground. I’ll leave the leaves as they will be broken down by the mini-beasts and will improve the soil for next year. #gardenrestorationblog

Crinkle lily
Here’s a closer view of the ‘crinkle lily’. I don’t know its variety but the crinkled petals are not down to dehydration as I had thought in Summer. #gardenrestorationblog

The lilies are coming into flower!
Wow! It’s nearly November and the beautiful lily is finally making an entrance! The buds behind are ready to open any day now. #gardenrestorationblog

A true sign of Autumn
The tree stump in the border is now being populated with fungi – a true sign of Autumn. I am no good with fungi identification though.... #fungi #gardenrestorationblog
